UBC Community Conversations

Engaging in open conversations on an ongoing basis with the UBC community about planning and development as well as community programs.

As part of UBC’s commitment to community engagement, Campus and Community Planning (C+CP) has created ten engagement principles to enable constructive dialogue with our community. Through these principles, we are launching a new initiative, UBC Community Conversations, in partnership with the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA).

Designed to strengthen communication with UBC students, faculty, staff and residents, these two-way conversations will include updates on upcoming planning, development projects and community programs.

UBC Community Conversations with UBC Neighbourhood Residents

These are an opportunity for residents and UBC community leaders to meet and discuss community interests. Michael White, the C+CP Associate Vice President, UNA Board members, and other key staff will attend these events.

These events are scheduled to take place twice a year.

Upcoming UBC Community Conversations

The next UBC Community Conversations will take place in June 2017. Please check back in the spring for details.
