Help us create UBC’s next community. Share your input and ideas to shape plans for a new neighbourhood around Thunderbird Stadium between September 28 – October 22.

In this first phase of consultation, we are seeking your insights on living, working, studying and playing at UBC. Your experience can help us understand how this new neighbourhood can improve the campus experience of tomorrow. What we hear from you will guide our planning decisions.

Share your ideas on how we can make a vibrant new neighbourhood that supports the academic mission, advances sustainability and connects UBC’s facilities, destinations and existing neighbourhoods.

There are two ways to participate in this first phase of consultation and provide your feedback:

1. Through the online survey from September 28 - October 22

2. By attending any of our public open houses:

Public Open House - DP17030 - Thunderbird Park Baseball Field Upgrades

UBC Baseball Indoor Training Centre, 3085 Wesbrook Mall

Join us on Thursday, October 12 to view and comment on the proposed above ground modifications to the existing Baseball Field in Thunderbird Park.  Plans will be displayed for the above ground modifications to the existing Baseball Field.
These include additions of permanent bleachers, scoreboards and new lighting.

Representatives from the project team and Campus and Community Planning will be available to provide information and respond to inquiries about this project.

Join us on Thursday, October 19, 2017 to view and comment on two development proposals in the University Square area.  Plans will be displayed for:

DP17020 "The Shadow" Exterior Public Art,by Esther  Shalev-Gerz, consisting of an outdoor art installation using cement pavers.
DP17021 Hebb Tower Building Upgrade project includes seismic and other general building and landscape upgrades.

Representatives from the project teams and Campus and Community Planning will be available to provide information and respond to inquiries about these projects.
