Development Review Committee

The Development Review Committee reviews all applications for campus and neighbourhood development.

As part of the review process, the committee provides recommendations to the Director of Planning. From time to time, and depending on the application, the committee may invite additional designates or members, but the core committee is represented by:

  • Director of Planning
  • Manager of Development Services
  • University Architect / Landscape Architect
  • Associate Director of Infrastructure and Services Planning
  • A representative from Transportation Planning
  • Associate Director, Infrastructure Planning
  • Chief Building Official
  • Director of Operational Sustainability
  • Fire Chief of the Vancouver Fire Rescue Service Fire Protection Office
  • A representative from Risk Management
  • Landscape Designer, Building Operations
  • Architect, Building Operations
  • Director of Facilities and Capital Planning
  • A representative from Parking and Access Control
  • A representative from UBC Properties Trust
  • A representative from Utilities
