The Streets and Landscaping Permits process ensures that any proposed changes comply with the Land Use Plan, Vancouver Campus Plan, Neighbourhood Plans, and campus guidelines and standards. Where appropriate, the public and the academic community are consulted.
Terms + Conditions
Campus + Community Planning provides Terms and Conditions that outline the responsibilities of applicants. From construction site safety, clean-up and traffic management to noise control and streetscape restoration, the document formalizes the agreement between UBC and the permit applicant.
Streets and Landscaping Permit applications and any applicable fees must be submitted to the Development Services unit of Campus + Community Planning.
A complete application consists of the submission requirements listed in the UBC Development and Building Regulations. Depending on your project, you may also need to review the various proceedures that guide development at UBC.
Identify the street/location for your proposed project, provide a scope of work, estimated cost of construction and review the Terms and Conditions for any work.
Complete application form and submit with all required materials to Campus + Community Planning. Please note that you must sign and return the Terms and Conditions with the Street and Landscape Permit Application Form.
In order for us to accept and process your application, you must submit all the required information. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
