Project 529 Garage Anti Bike Theft Registration at UBC

Each year, hundreds of bikes are stolen at UBC. To tackle bike theft on campus, we have partnered with Project 529, a community-based bike registration and recovery service. The 529 Garage application can be downloaded on your smartphone and allows riders to record unique details of their bikes crucial to helping stolen bikes get returned.

Bike Registration Events:

Registration is quick and easy. Bring your bike to one of these upcoming events. Our team will provide free tamper-resistant Project 529 seals (worth $10.00 each) that will placed on your bike to ensure an extra layer of protection.

October 4: Crime Prevention Week at Bookstore Plaza (11AM - 3:00PM)
October 25: Bike to Work Week Celebration Station at Robert H. Lee Square (4:00-6:00PM)
