Bike Share Programs

What’s Bike-Share?

Bike share programs make public bikes available for shared use to individuals on a short-term basis. The bikes can be unlocked from one location and ridden to other convenient locations across campus, making bike share ideal for short, one-way trips.

Mobi

Mobi's bike share program (with e-bikes!) is now available on the Vancouver campus. Mobi bikes and e-bikes can be docked and undocked at any of Mobi's stations throughout UBC and the City of Vancouver.

The first few Mobi stations were activated in November 2023. More stations will be introduced over the coming months, with a total of 11 on-campus stations anticipated by Fall 2024.

Members of the UBC community also benefit from significant discounts on annual memberships to Mobi, which include an annual pass for unlimited 60-minute rides (Classic & E-bikes) for just $149. This offer is exclusively available to UBC staff, students, and faculty. The purchase of this pass also includes a free 365-Day Pass for HOPR.
