This catalogue provides a high-level overview of prominent spaces within the public realm at UBC to assist in the event planning process.
We understand that events can come in all shapes and sizes. For an outdoor space that isn’t listed below (or area of a space beyond the standard dimensions offered), please submit a clear picture of that desired space in the Outdoor Event Application.
Step 1: Explore outdoor spaces by first taking a look at the Map View.
- Blue translucent areas indicate bookable space.
- Zoom in/out with your mouse wheel or click +/- buttons on the bottom-left of the map.
- Click and drag anywhere on the map to navigate.
- Click on a blue translucent area for more information.
Step 2: For in-depth information about a particular space, click the boxes below the map.
- Spaces are sorted from largest to smallest, in bookable surface area.
- Availability is subject to scheduling and approval, upon your submission of the Outdoor Event Application.
- Some spaces may be temporarily unavailable and cannot be booked. This may be due to a variety of reasons, such as maintenance or construction. Please click on a space below to determine if a location is available.
