UBC Project Services has applied for a Development Permit for site improvements that include redeveloping the warehouse yard, material recovery facility, and a section of Nurseries Road to better support the operational needs of the Municipal and Emergency Management groups.
The project will introduce several key upgrades, including five EV charging stalls, a new CNG station to replace the aging facility, and two diesel tanks for emergency response. Additional improvements include a weigh scale with a relocated gate house, a vehicle wash bay, and covered and uncovered bulk material storage bays. Minor road widening and resurfacing will also be carried out to accommodate the turning movements of large vehicles.
The total site area is approximately 6,600 m2
