A development permit application has been received for two sculptures (Stela I and Stela II by Elza Mayhew) and interpretive signage to be placed in the Dentistry courtyard of the hospital complex to the west of the JB Macdonald Building.

The grassy area among the mature trees in the courtyard bounded by the PA Woodward Instruction Resources Centre, JB Macdonald Building, Friedman Building and Koerner Pavilion. 

Description

Stela I and Stela II (1963) are a pair of cast aluminum sculptures created by Victoria-based artist and UBC alumna Elza Mayhew (1916-2004).
