A development permit application has been received for a 247 sq. m low carbon demonstration building to the south of the Douglas T. Kenny Building. The building is a student project that is being entered into the US Department of Energy's Solar Decathlon collegiate competition.
Following the competition the building will serve as a "third space" for collaborative activities related to zero emission, regenerative, and climate resilient design.
