About the Walking Tour

Join UBC Campus + Community Planning staff for a walk through Wesbrook Place. Along the way we'll highlight upcoming changes to the neighbourhood, notably a new area of the neighbourhood called Wesbrook Place South. The tour will focus on sharing information while hearing your feedback on the following components of Wesbrook Place South: parks and open spaces, new retail and amenities, additional housing over the next 10 years, and transportation improvements in the surrounding neighbourhood.

This walking tour is part of engagement on a process to update the Wesbrook Place Neighbourhood Plan, with a focus on Wesbrook Place South. This is the first major step in implementing Campus Vision 2050, the long-range plan for how UBC's Vancouver campus will change and grow to support the needs of the university, its students, faculty, residents, staff, and Musqueam.

Note: The tour route will be shared with registrants the day before. The tour is 90 minutes and weather dependent. A decision to cancel will be made by 8:30 AM on the day of and registrants will be informed by email.
