UBC Properties Trust has applied for a Development Permit to redevelop the existing St. John’s College and construct a new graduate focused community. The proposal includes six new buildings ranging from 8 to 22-storeys providing approximately 1,513 beds in a mixture of unit types. The development also features a 250-seat dining hall, a 37-space childcare centre, office space, and other amenities. Two central courtyards are planned, incorporating the adaptive reuse of UBC’s heritage Fire Hall.

The total above grade gross area is approximately 59,206 GSM (637,288 GSF)
