UBC Properties Trust has applied to the University of British Columbia for a Development Permit to construct a new one-storey licensed child care centre to accommodate 28 children (12 infant/toddler spaces and 16 spaces 3-5 year olds) in the open space along West Mall in front of Orchard Commons, 6363 Agronomy Road. Two fenced outdoor play areas will also be provided. The total additional building area is 416 m2.
