Purpose
Annual UBC Recreation Event – 175m Swim, 475m Sprint, 3.5km Cycle 1.5km Run and over the 12ft Wall
Event Details
Power-boosted sound system used at levels heard only in the immediate area – classes and university operations will not be impacted
Pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured around event routes during race times
Cycle route will be fenced off for participant use only – detour provided for non-event pedestrians and cyclists
Alcohol and food will not be served
Fencing will be stockpiled in various locations in University Commons, Lee Square & Main Mall
Bark mulch and a wall will be placed in the AMS managed space
First aid will be onsite
