Implementation of Campus Vision 2050, UBC's long-range plan for how the campus will change and grow to support the needs its community, is well underway. Key initiatives include major updates to the Wesbrook Place Neighbourhood Plan—expanding housing, amenities, and open spaces—and detailed planning for redeveloping the Saint John’s College area to add 1,000 new student beds. Work also continues on updated plans and policies to guide academic growth, climate action, biodiversity, transportation (including SkyTrain), and Musqueam presence on campus.
