BIKE VALET: No Longer Active

The Bike Valet Pilot has ended.

Thank you to everyone who used the service or gave us feedback! Your participation is essential in helping us plan out ways to improve the cycling experience on UBC.

This fall, UBC piloted a new secure bike parking program with a Bike Valet service. The pilot ran from September 18 to October 10 at Koerner Plaza, right outside Walter C. Koerner Library, on Main Mall.

Program Information

The Bike Valet was active every Wednesday and Thursday, from 8am to 6pm, throughout the program period. The pilot's service area was limited to the Koerner Plaza location but may be expanded in future iterations of the service.

During the pilot program period, staff was available to monitor parked bikes (and other micro-mobility devices) to ensure safe and secured bike parking. The main goal of the Bike Valet pilot program is to increase the security of bicycle and micro-mobility parking at UBC.
