PURPOSE
To celebrate the festival of colours - Holi. It is a religious Indian festival that is celebrated to worship Goddess Holika.
DETAILS
- DJ – family friendly lyrics
- Sound system – decibel levels monitored throughout
- Sound check to start at 9:30am on Sat. April 30.
- First aid will be onsite
- Colour powder to be smeared and not thrown
- Request for general parking will be redirected to another parking lot.
- Campus Security to be on site
- UBC Building Operations to clean up the parking lot immediately following the event
- Two food trucks to be on site
- Alcohol will be not be served
- Soft barricades on Agronomy Road with Traffic Control personnel to ensure no vehicles stop or offload for event and local traffic can flow freely
