To manage pedestrians, some lane and road closures will be in place around Botanical Garden as detailed below. A shuttle service will bring visitors to the Garden from UBC Parkades.
Access to St. Johns hospice from East Mall is maintained.

Road reduced to single lane in each direction and speed limit reduced to 30km/h.
Traffic will be stopped by Traffic Control Personnel to accommodate pedestrian crossings safely. Drivers should use an alternative route or expect delays.
Absolutely no parking and no stopping on SW Marine Drive.
No access to Botanical Garden Parking Lot or Stadium Road from SW Marine Drive.
