Event details
- Event Setup: Saturday, June 25, 2023 from 4:00am – 7:30am
- Event Takedown: Sunday, June 25, 2023, immediately after the event until 12:00 noon. This includes portables and event infrastructure in Parking Lot. All roads will be open at this time.
- Half marathon starts at 7:30am, 5K starts at 9:30am
- Start line for half marathon event and start & finish line for 5K event located on NW Marine Drive between Oberlander Lane and Agronomy Road
- Registration is required
- No alcohol or food will be served
- Power-boosted sound system will be used
- Light refreshments will be served
- Portables, race package pickup, celebration for 5K and first aid will be placed in third party Parking Lot on NW Marine Drive at Agronomy Road

Road Closures
- Lane Closures
- 7am – 10:15am: SW Marine Drive between Wesbrook Mall and Kullahun Drive open in northbound direction only. Southbound traffic detoured to 16th Avenue.
- Full Road Closures
- 4:00 am – 11:15 am: NW Marine Drive between Stadium Road and University Blvd
- 4:00 am – 12:00 noon: Agronomy Road between NW Marine Drive and Lower Mall
- 7:00 am – 9:30 am: NW Marine Drive between University Blvd and East Mall
- 7:00 am – 10:00 am: NW Marine Drive from Chancellor Blvd to 4th Ave (along Spanish Banks)
- 7:00 am – 11:00 am: SW Marine Drive (Wesbrook Mall to Stadium Road)
- Access to Botanical Gardens via Stadium Road across NW Marine Drive through gaps in runners. Flaggers will be present.
- Wesbook Place residents and visitors, use 16th Avenue during event to avoid delays, not SW Marine Drive. There is no access from Wesbrook Mall onto SW Marine Drive from 7am to 10:15am.
- Cecil Green Park Road access accommodated from NW Marine Drive via Chancellor Blvd through gaps in runners.
- UBC Hospital – access via 16th Avenue, University Blvd and Chancellor Blvd to Wesbrook Mall.
