UBC’s Transportation and Planning, in partnership with the AMS Bike Co-op, has added a new bike cage to its other 10 secure bike-parking facilities across campus.
The new Engineering Design Centre bike cage is located next to a recently completed public realm project in the courtyard space of the Civil and Mechanical Engineering Building.
The bike cage contains one row of stacked bike racks with a 52-bike capacity, and one repair station and bench, and is intended for short-term personal bike storage. This facility, like the other bike cages on campus, offers security by providing covered bike racks within a secure enclosure and are open to all members of the community free of charge.
If you are interested you must register with Bike Kitchen. Registrations for the new bike cage will be opening soon. For more information please call the Bike Kitchen at 604-827-7333.
