Description

Temporary Development Permit to create eight (8) beach volleyball courts on Lot 1 in Wesbrook Place.  The total site area is 6,200m2 and will be in use from May to September 2018.

Urban Rec Vancouver will be the principal facility user, but the space will be available to the community and university during the day. Urban Rec has requested to reserve the facility for their exclusive use Monday ‐ Thursday from 5:30pm until 8:30pm between May & September 2018. The user will be expected to re‐apply each year for a new permit prior to the start of their league play.

Due to the surrounding residential neighborhood and the nearby eagles nest, any noise generated by the activities associated with the beach volleyball will not exceed 55dbA.
