The following is an update on the steps that we are taking to keep our staff, clients and the UBC community safe.

Due to precautions around Coronavirus (COVID-19), many staff members from Campus and Community Planning are working at home and our offices are currently not open to the public. Here is what you need to know.

Events, filming activity and sign requests

Events, filming activity and sign requests have been cancelled until June 30, 2020. Visit the Film + Event Bookings + Outdoor Signage page for more information and to submit your applications for later in the summer.

Building Permits and Inspections

Staff at the Building Permits and Inspection office are working but will no longer accept applications in person.  Instead, applicants are asked to leave their applications in a basket next to the front entrance of the building at 2210 West Mall.

Read more about changes to the application process.

Development Permit Public Consultation
